Laura is a qualified City of London Guide and an Associate of the Institute of Tourist Guiding, holding a 'Green Badge'. This means that she not only has the 'knowledge' of the City but follows a professional code of conduct. There are no 'free' tours that demand donations at the end and care is given to the design and content of walks.

Laura is a Cambridge University educated Historian and qualified Librarian and Archivist. Her day job for the City involves performing an ancient ceremony in a role that has existed since the middle ages. A Freeman of the City of London and of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers she is a City 'insider'.

Laura conducts tours to keep her knowledge up to date and share her enthusiasm for this unique and complex bit of the world. She is a born and bred Londoner whose family have lived in the City for centuries. The aim of the walks is to be enjoyable and informative.
